Packaging Guidelines
Golf balls are relatively heavy in relation to their size. Be sure to use a sturdy cardboard box or strong rubble type sack and ensure it is securely sealed with strong tape.
Do not allow the balls to move within the box, pad out with cushioning materials if necessary. Do not use damaged boxes.
Sending options
Due to their weight it is normally cheapest to send us your golf balls via Parcelforce.
Parcelforce’s price for between 100 and 500 balls sent from most of the UK mainland is £8.00, and if you wish we will provide a pre-paid label, and this cost will then be deducted from the total price agreed for the balls. This means it’s best if you send us balls in batches of just under 500, as a parcel with fewer balls will still cost the same in postage. No parcel should weigh more than 25 kg, including packaging. As a guide, 1 golf ball weighs just under 50 grams.
The normal procedure is that once purchase of the balls is agreed we will send you one or more Parcelforce labels. You can then package the balls (in cardboard packaging, not plastic), attach the label(s), and drop the parcel off at your local Post Office or depot, without paying anything at that stage. The postage cost will then be deducted from the agreed total price for the balls.
If you have significantly more than 500 balls we may use an alternative delivery method, so please contact us for advice.
